Please find below our helpful guide to getting started on Kaisen!
In order to get you set up as quickly as possible, we've organised a helpful checklist that will take you through each stage. Take a look at the associated guides in each section for more information.
1. Adding User Groups - When you log in to Kaisen, you'll first want to navigate towards the User Groups section where you will be able to set up your different classifications of users. You can read our Managing user groups and permissions guide for a more in depth look at the configurable settings.
2. Adding a Category - This stage will set up a solid foundation for adding your Customers, Users, and Projects at a later stage. You can add, edit, or remove these Categories using the settings provided. Check out our Adding a category guide for more information.
3. Adding a Customer - Throughout your journey on Kaisen, we hope your customer list will be constantly expanding. Your customer details tab has all the tools you need for adding, editing and removing customer information. Take a look at our Adding a customer guide to find out more.
4. Adding a Project - This section will be one of the most dynamic and ever changing areas of your platform experience. That's why it's important to offer you the most optimal settings available for adding, editing, and viewing your projects. We recommend you check out our Adding a project guide to take you through each step of the process.
5. Adding a User - It's now time to start adding your users. We've created a short guide to help you when adding new users to the platform, which can be found under our Managing users guide.
6. Time Entries - The vast majority of your organisations input data will be entered through our time management feature. From here, colleagues will be able to log their time spent on a particular task. Our Adding time guide has a detailed explanation for anyone who wants to get started straight away.
7. Time Reports - Our reports section has a number of customizable filters in order to acurately track down the information you're after. You can sort reports according to a range of options from specific customers to individual tasks. Our Detailed report guide is a good starting point for filtering and downloading your required reports.
